Mirko who?
Born in Brianza in 1989, the son of toil and dreams of Southern italian emigrants who travelled north. Using my hands, creating, working hard are part of my DNA and I couldn’t imagine doing otherwise. I learned to ride bikes late, at 10 years old, but I fell in love with it and have never stopped since. Over the years, I move from fixed gear bikes to racing bikes, developed a passion for vintage bicycles, and eventually discovered touring bikes, where I finally found my true passion. Throughout the year, I live fast, always in a hurry, and unfortunately, I don’t ride as often as I would like to. But whenever I do, I escape, I travel by bike, slow down, get lost, and find myself.

In 2019, fascinated and curious, I learned the basics from a young and talented framebuilder from Milan. But theory wasn’t enough: I started practicing alone in a cold, dilapidated warehouse in my city. At the time, I didn’t yet know exactly what I was doing, but I knew I wanted to do it, so I invested every free moment in improving my technique and learning from others. I was laying the foundation for what would later become a real project. Thus, Romanelli Cicli was born. In my work, you can sense both tradition and innovation, the perfect combination that links the best of yesterday with the best of today.
Welding for adventures
Traveling by bike, alone, for many hours and many days, is the best way to get to know your bicycle better. In a short time, it stops being a simple means of transport and becomes a travel companion that listens to you and accompanies you slowly, wherever you push it. My aptitude for touring can also be felt in my frames: comfort and practicality are never lacking in every model I build. My focus is to create steel frames suitable for every situation, everlasting, reliable, resistant, and functional, that last forever, accompany you everywhere, take you further, and allow you to fully experience every adventure.
